Itinerary

Day 1: Fly to Lukla (2,860m), Trek to Phakding (2,610m)

Early morning flight to Lukla offers stunning views of the Himalayas. After landing, begin your trek with a gradual descent through pine forests and Sherpa villages to Phakding.

Duration: 3–4 hours

Day 2: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m)

Trek through forests, cross suspension bridges, and enter Sagarmatha National Park. Steep climb to Namche. 6–7 hours.

Duration: 5–6 hours

Day 3 – Acclimatisation in Namche Bazaar

Rest day with optional hike to Everest View Hotel or Khumjung. Helps adapt to higher altitude.

Optional hike: 2–3 hours

Day 4: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,870m)

Scenic trail with Everest views. Visit Tengboche Monastery, surrounded by mountain peaks. 5–6 hours.

Day 5: Tengboche to Dingboche (4,360m)

Trek past Pangboche and beautiful valleys. Enter the alpine zone. 5–6 hours.

Day 6: Acclimatisation in Dingboche

Optional hike to Nagarjun Hill (5,100m) for panoramic mountain views. Rest and prepare for higher elevation.

Day 7: Dingboche to Lobuche (4,940m)

Pass memorials for fallen climbers. Trek along moraines with views of glaciers and peaks. 5–6 hours.

Day 8: Lobuche to Gorak Shep (5,170m), Everest Base Camp (5,364m)

Trek to Gorak Shep, then continue to Everest Base Camp. Return to Gorak Shep for overnight. 7–8 hours.

Day 9: Kala Patthar (5,545m), Trek to Pheriche (4,280m)

Early hike to Kala Patthar for sunrise and Everest views. Descend to Pheriche. 6–7 hours.

Day 10: Pheriche to Namche Bazaar

Retrace steps through Tengboche and forested trails. 6–7 hours.

Day 11: Namche Bazaar to Lukla

Final trekking day. Descend through villages and cross bridges to Lukla. 6–7 hours.

Day 12: Fly to Kathmandu

Morning flight back to Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel and rest.

Day 13: Buffer/Rest Day in Kathmandu

Relax, explore, or shop in Thamel. Optional sightseeing if desired.

Day 14: Departure

Transfer to the airport for your flight home. Trip concludes.
